Starbucks bringing Mobile Order and Pay to 300 GTA stores on October 13

Starbucks is launching Mobile Order and Pay, the app-based pre-order and pickup service it piloted in the U.S. earlier this year, in Canada on October 13. Initially available on iOS, and only in 300 stores in the Greater Toronto Area, the company says that users will be able to order food and drinks prior to entering the store, which will ideally be ready to go by the time they enter.

Like regular orders, Starbucks customers will be able to customize drinks and view wait times, along with directions to the nearest store for pickup.

The 300 stores are located in Toronto, Markham, Scarborough, Richmond Hill, Unionville, Vaughn, Etobicoke, Aurora and Thornhill, expanding to other cities around the country throughout 2016.
