Rogers increases select monthly rate plans in Manitoba by $5

Bell announced its intention to acquire Manitoba Telecom Services (MTS) for $3.9 billion CAD and shift one-third of its subscribers to Telus. Wasting little time, Rogers has increased the cost of rate plans it offers in the province.

According to Rogers website, the 6GB, 10GB and 15GB Share Everything and Share Everything Plus plans have increased by $5 per month, with monthly plans now starting at $50, going all the way up to $95 per month.

As part of the shift, Rogers unveiled a new 1GB Share Everything plan for $60 per month and also bumped the previous $60 plan to $65, and increased the data allotment from 2GB to 2.5GB. Below is a complete list of the changes.
