The rumoured HTC Bolt might be globally released as the HTC 10 evo

HTC Bolt

Eminent mobile tipster Evan Blass has just revealed more information about the rumoured HTC Bolt — stating that it might actually be branded worldwide as the HTC 10 evo.

This title connects the device to HTC’s Evo 4G handset, which was released in 2010 in the U.S. through Sprint, and the HTC Evo 3D which followed in 2011 and made its way to Canada. At the time, the device was trendsetting for its large 4.3-inch touch screen, though now that same display size is considered quite small.

Blass has previously tweeted that the new HTC smartphone will be available globally, indicating that it will make its way North of the border. According to Blass, the HTC 10 evo is a mid-range device that will notably lack a 3.5mm headphone jack.

It is also set to feature a 5.5-inch 1080p display, 3GB of RAM, 64GB of expandable storage, a front-facing fingerprint scanner, a USB-C port and Android Nougat.

Leaked images of the smartphone reveal an industrial design extremely similar to the HTC 10.
