Plans
Update Nov. 29, 2024: Virgin dropped the price of its 60GB plan to $34 and added a $39/100GB 4G plan with Canada/U.S. calling.
Update Nov. 21 at 12:55pm ET: Virgin has added a $39/60GB plan (after autopay discount), replacing its previous, more expensive 60GB plan outlined below. Read more here.
At the time of writing, Virgin hasn’t done anything notable with plans. I wrote on November 18th that the provider scrapped most of its plans in favour of one $44/60GB 4G plan with Canada/U.S. calling. Currently, that’s all they offer, aside from some basic plans.
Here’s hoping Virgin rolls out better plans in the near future.
Internet
Virgin is offering up to a $40 credit for 12 months on home internet plans, bringing the prices down to the following:
- $50/mo 50Mbps down 10Mbps up (after $20 credit)
- $55/mo 100Mbps down, 10Mbps up (after $25 credit)
- $55/mo 300Mbps down, 100Mbps up (after $40 credit)
