NASCAR and Bell Media have reached an agreement to keep all three NASCAR series on its networks.
For the first time, NASCAR will bring all three of its major racing series north of the border under the Bell Media umbrella. That includes the NASCAR Cup Series, Xfinity Series and the Craftsman Truck Series. The latter is only one of the major three to race in Bowmanville’s Canadian Tire Motorsport Park.
Although the Truck and Xfinity Series have been broadcast in Canada before, the broadcasts haven’t been as consistent, and not all races were shown compared to the Cup Series. The recent addition of the USA network gives Bell Media another space to broadcast the Truck Series races without taking a timeslot on one of the five TSN channels or TSN+.
According to a press release from Bell Media, races, practices, and qualifying sessions will be broadcast across Bell’s linear and digital platforms, including CTV, TSN, TSN+, and the USA Network. Bell also acquired the media rights for the ARCA Menards Series and the NASCAR Canada Series. REV TV, the official broadcaster, will host both series.
The NASCAR Cup Series starts with the Cook Out Clash at Bowman Gray on Sunday, February 2nd at 8pm ET, and the Daytona 500 on Sunday, February 16th at 2:30pm ET.
The NASCAR Xfinity Series starts the Saturday before the Daytona 500, hosting the United Rentals 300 at 5:00pm ET. The Craftsman Truck Series will race on Valentine’s Day in Daytona at 7:30pm ET.
The NASCAR Canada Series kicks off its season at the Canadian Tire Motorsports Park on May 18, at 2:00pm ET.
