Squid Game’s final season to premiere on Netflix in June

First images and key art from the series' swan song were also revealed

The highly anticipated third and final season of Squid Game will begin streaming on Netflix on June 27th.

The premiere date was revealed as part of the streamer’s broader ‘Next on Netflix’ preview of its 2025 slate. Alongside the premiere date, some first images (including the one pictured above) and key art (see below) were revealed.

Squid Game debuted in September 2021 to significant acclaim and quickly became Netflix’s most-watched series. The second season premiered in December 2024 to largely positive reviews, although some criticized it for feeling like “half” of the story. And sure enough, that’s because it is, having been filmed back-to-back with the third and final season. Thankfully, fans won’t have to wait too much longer to finally see whether Seong Gi-hun (Lee Jung-jae) gets his long-awaited revenge.
