iPhone 17 Pro features new telephoto lens with versatile focal length: report

That huge camera bump could be hiding a neat new camera feature

The iPhone 17 series is a little less than half a year away. We’ve seen the handset’s design, including its new, weird camera module. However, according to leaker Majinbu Official, there might be more than meets the eye.

According to the leak, the 17 Pro’s telephoto lens offers a new versatile focal length that shifts from 120mm (a 5x optical zoom) to 85mm (3.5x) for portraits.

Additionally, it sports a 48-megapixel sensor with up to 7x optical zoom. Further, it offers sharp details at long distances and captures light better than its predecessor. The handset will also feature two other lenses: an ultrawide and a primary shooter.

While you should take most leaks with a grain of salt, Majinbu Official has been reliable. The iPhone 17 Pro alongside the iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Air, iPhone 17 Pro Max and likely other Apple devices as well.
