Earlier this year, I reviewed the OnePlus 13, which might be one of the best Android devices released in 2025. But because of its lack of Canadian carrier visibility, many people in the country don’t know about it, and that’s a big mistake.
Now, the company is launching the OnePlus 13T, a compact version of the device. According to OnePlus’ official Weibo account, the OnePlus 13T will launch on April 24 in China. The handset will come in three variants: matte black (Cloud Ink Black), gray-silver (Morning Mist Grey) and light pink (Heart Beating Pink).
An official video shows that the device is stylish and has a pretty nice camera bump compared to the OnePlus 13. Additionally, it’ll have a small 6.32-inch display. From previous leaks, we’ve also learned that the device will have a Snapdragon 8 Elite and at least a 6,000mAh battery.
OnePlus has a good track record of releasing phones in Canada if they also launch in the U.S. The OnePlus 13T might be the best choice for those who like smaller phones, ahead of the Samsung Galaxy S25 and the Pixel 9. We can’t confirm a Canadian launch, but we hope to see it in the next few months. Typically, OnePlus launches its handsets first in China and then pushes out a global version about two to three months later.
