Update April 30, 2025, at 12:01 p.m. ET: OnePlus confirmed the 13T will not be available in Canada.
OnePlus has launched the 13T in China, a smaller handset with a larger battery than most flagships.
The handset features a 6.32-inch OLED screen and a 6,260mAh battery, which is larger than the 5,000mAh S25 Ultra, which has a 6.9-inch display.
Additionally, the phone offers a customizable shortcut button instead of the trademark alert slider. You can use this button to control the notification volume, open apps, take a screenshot or trigger some AI features.
The smartphone also sports a Snapdragon 8 Elite with up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. It also has two 50-megapixel cameras, a primary camera, and a 2x telephoto shooter for portraits. Additionally, it offers 80W wired charging, but it seems to lack wireless charging support.
Further, the smartphone costs CNY3,399 (CA$646.96).
It’s unclear if this phone is coming to Canada, but I hope so. The original OnePlus 13 was stellar, and a smaller variant with a larger battery also seems appealing.
