Freedom Mobile is to announce a multi-year agreement as the major sponsor of the Calgary Stampede Grandstand Show, which will take place from July 4 to 13 in 2025.
Alberta’s Carolyn Dawn Johnson headlines the show, which also features performances from Jason Isbell and The 400 Unit, Shania Twain, Devon Cole, and others.
“We are extremely proud to announce this partnership with the Calgary Stampede, which further strengthens Freedom Mobile’s growing presence in Alberta,” said Pierre Karl Péladeau, President and CEO of Freedom Mobile in the press release. “The Grandstand Show is an iconic celebration that brings communities together through unforgettable entertainment. We share the Stampede’s vision of delivering exceptional experiences, and through this partnership, we are demonstrating our commitment to being an active contributor to the vibrant community life where our customers live, work and play.”
This is among other sponsorships for the carrier, such as the company’s multi-year partnership with Vancouver’s Pacific National Exhibition to create the Freedom Mobile Arch, an outdoor amphitheatre slated to open in 2026.
In other Freedom Mobile news, the carrier is giving away free Roam Beyond data to eligible customers with plans costing $34 or more.
