At the Google I/O Android Show, the search giant explained three ways it will keep Android safer.
Google is enhancing protection from scam texts in Google Messages. According to the company, Messages will be able to recognize crypto and financial scams, toll road scams, gift card scams, and more. Additionally, Google is emphasizing security by keeping this all on-device.
The company is also making finding lost devices and people easier by creating the new Find Hub. Find Hub lets you find devices, tags, and loved ones in one space. Google is also adding more compatible devices and Bluetooth tags, such as the Moto Tags, to its list of partners.
Later this year, the Find Hub will support satellite connectivity. This will allow users to stay connected with friends and family when cell service isn’t available.
Google is also bringing Advanced Protection to Android 16 devices. With Advanced Protection, you can protect yourself from more sophisticated threats.
