Videotron’s Fizz Mobile extended and expanded its partnership with Etiya to power core technology as Fizz expands across Canada and beyond.
The expanded partnership will see Etiya enable Fizz with AI-powered customer support and advanced automation for campaigns to drive engagement and business growth. Etiya said in a release that its technology would establish a “platform well-positioned for deployment in other international markets.”
Etiya is a software company that specializes in digital transformation focused on customer experience and AI.
Fizz’s partnership with Etiya will also see the wireless provider get Etiya’s cloud-native Digital Business Support System (BSS) Platform, comprehensive managed services, and a dedicated development team.
For me, the main takeaway here is the AI-powered customer support. These things never go over particularly well and generally the experience sucks for users, who usually end up needing to argue with a bot until they’re able to get connected to a real person.
