A thread on the r/VideoGameDealsCanada subreddit claims that lots of Canadians are having good luck finding Switch 2 consoles in stores.
While people have struggled with recent launches for the PS5 and some Nvidia graphics cards, it seems like Nintendo has been able to keep up with demand for the Switch 2 console. After a fairly robust few weeks of pre-orders, most retailers also announced that they would have stock in stores on launch day.

We expected these to sell out quickly at midnight release events and early in the morning, it seems that many places across the country still have units available. However, you can’t order them online at every store and some require you to shop in person.
According to the thread, even the major Best Buy in downtown Toronto still had unsold consoles at 2 PM today. Another user mentioned lots of consoles at Best Buy in Westhills, Calgary. The list goes on and on. I recommend sorting the comments by ‘New’ to see the most up-to-date information.
It also appears that some retailers are re-opening online orders. Staples restocked its online store at a little before 3 PM.
