Young Drivers of Canada has launched “YD Drivers Coach,” its new AI-powered Driver training app for iOS.
The app aims to make the organization’s gold-standard driving curriculum accessible on the phones of new drivers.
For new drivers, the app can help them prepare for their written driving test by providing realistic practice questions based on the official test format in their province. The app allows users to take as many questions as they need while also reviewing answers and tracking their progress—all before they even book the real test. This aims to ensure that users are prepared to drive in a convenient and stress-free environment.
Those with more experience can also use the app’s real-time road test simulation, which uses GPS and motion sensors to monitor their driving habits and offer personalized feedback, emulating the presence of a real driving examiner.
Additionally, the app offers self-paced, comprehensive learning courses for issues new drivers might struggle with, ranging from reducing driving anxiety to parking guides and night driving.
The app is now available on the App Store.
