Apple selling refurbished M2 Mac mini for $439

If you need a really great desktop, the M2 Mac mini was always a stellar option, but at this price, it’s hard to pass up.

Apple is currently selling refurbished M2 Mac minis starting at $439. This is just the old base model, which means it only has 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, but for a lot of people, that will be enough. If you want to upgrade to 16GB of RAM, the cost goes up to $609. There is also a model with 8GB of RAM and 512GB of storage for $649.

The newer M4 Mac mini that has the tiny design starts with 16GB of RAM and 256GB of storage for $799. That said, for most the M2 chip will still be a significant upgrade. My fiancé Alex has been using a base model M2 MacBook Air for years.
