Apple isn’t providing a charging cable with the purchase of the just-announced AirPods Pro 3.
On its online store, the company notes that a USB-C cable, which is required to charge the earbuds, is sold separately. This likely won’t be an issue for many people, given the ubiquity of USB-C cables, but it’s still worth keeping in mind if you’re planning on picking up the AirPods Pro 3. In addition to USB-C cables, you can also wirelessly charge AirPods with the likes of MagSafe, Qi, and via an Apple Watch charger.
Unveiled during Tuesday’s big fall Apple hardware event, the AirPods Pro 3 offer new features like heart rate tracking, live translation and custom acoustics.
The AirPods Pro 3 cost $249 and can be pre-ordered now from Apple’s website. They launch on September 19 alongside Apple’s other recently revealed products.
