Telus subbrands Public Mobile and Koodo are partnering to offer Public customers discounted access to the carrier’s Stream+ bundle.
Per an email I received, Public customers can save between $13 and $18 per month on a Stream+ bundle for three months, depending on the subscription tier they go with. Stream+ Basic will cost $10/mo (regular $23) while Premium costs $25/mo (regular $43).
The Telus Stream+ bundle includes access to Netflix, Disney+, Amazon Prime and Telus Films & Series, which is part of the Telus TV+ app. The Basic bundle offers ad-supported Netflix and Disney+, while the Premium bundle upgrades those to the ad-free premium subscriptions.

Typically the Stream+ bundle is only available to Telus and Koodo customers, but Public customers can now take advantage by creating a Koodo account. Per an FAQ on the Stream+ page, Public customers must select the ‘New to Koodo’ option when checking out, complete the checkout process, and then set up their Koodo account via an email that will arrive after the purchase.
While the cheap cost is certainly a draw, even after the three-month discount ends, customers will be coming out ahead with the Stream+ bundle compared to individual subscriptions. For example, Stream+ Basic will jump to $23/mo after the promotional period, but that’s still about $4 cheaper than paying for the same subscriptions individually. With Stream+ Premium, the deal is a little better at $43/mo for the bundle, while the individual value totals to about $50.

Plus, customers who already subscribe to some or all of those services can link their existing accounts so they don’t lose their watch history or account details.
Overall, the Stream+ bundle seems like a pretty good offer, and the special deal for Public customers is even better. If you’re with Public, watch for an email about the offer or check out Koodo’s website.
