Tim Hortons and Canadian Tire have teamed up to offer shared benefits to members of their respective loyalty programs.
Starting in 2026, those who link their accounts with Canadian Tire’s Triangle Rewards and Tim Hortons’ Tims Rewards programs will get unique benefits. The companies aren’t confirming specifics just yet, but they tease that Canadians will earn Canadian Tire Money (CTM) on eligible Tim Hortons purchases on top of “exclusive offers” through Triangle Rewards and Tims Rewards.” Triangle Mastercard holders who link their accounts will also be able to earn extra CTM.
It remains to be seen whether the “exclusive offers” will provide any benefits for Tim Hortons orders, specifically. As it stands, Canadians can earn points on food and drink orders that can then be redeemed for free menu items.
In any event, this announcement makes Tim Hortons the fourth Canadian brand to partner with Triangle Rewards following Petro-Canada, RBC and Westjet (also starting in 2026). Canadian Tire says it has nearly 12 million Triangle Rewards members.
