Next generation iPhone parts apparently caught on 5-minute video


Here’s something interesting that’s certainly a refreshing move away from CES. GlobalDirectParts has in their possession what they believe are parts to the iPhone 5 (possibly the CDMA iPhone for Verizon though). This next generation of the iPhone gets torn apart and looked over inch by inch. In total the video is over 5-minutes and makes a compelling case as the reviewer shows how the charging port flex-cable ribbon is actually 1cm longer than the current iPhone 4 ribbon…but most notably is the new separation line at the top of the device, which could be a fix for the signal issue.
