Samsung ATIV S coming to Rogers, TELUS, Bell & SaskTel in November

Before today, we knew that Rogers was getting the Samsung ATIV S, the company’s first Windows Phone 8 device. Turns out that the carrier’s exclusivity, if there is any, will be short-lived.

Samsung issued a press release today announcing that the 4.8-inch WP8 device will be coming to Bell, TELUS and Sasktel, in addition to Rogers. While neither pricing nor specific availability was given, Samsung says that the phone will be coming to Canada some time in November.

The Korean company is also bringing its ATIV Smart PC to the Rogers LTE network, which runs Windows 8 with an Intel Atom chip. The tablet/laptop hybrid comes with an S Pen and Samsung’s suite of touch- and pen-optimized apps. The ATIV Smart PC will start at $699 and the Pro version, which has a higher-resolution 1080p screen, a faster processor and more RAM, will start at $1,149.
