About a month back we let you know that WIND Mobile would be releasing the Sony Xperia ion – today is the glorious day. This currently runs Android OS 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, but will be upgraded to Jelly Bean early 2013. In addition, the ion has a 4.5-inch (1280×720) display, 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 12MP camera that captures 1080p HD videos, 720p front-facing camera, 1900 mAh battery, and 16GB internal memory. Curious about the cost: $149 on the WINDTab $40/month plan, $375 with the WINDTab $25/month plan, and $529 outright.
