The highly anticipated second season of Fallout will premiere on Prime Video in December.
Amazon revealed the release window during its Prime Video Upfronts presentation in New York City on Monday night. Series stars Ella Purnell (Lucy), Aaron Moten (Maximus) and Walton Goggins (The Ghoul), as well as an entire dance troupe, took to the stage for the announcement.

Additionally, Amazon confirmed that the series has already been renewed for a third season. It’s not all that surprising that the streamer is so bullish on the series, as the first season accumulated over 100 million viewers, making it one of Prime Video’s top three shows.
It remains to be seen when we’ll get the first trailer for Season 2, but for now, Prime Video teases that it “will pick up in the aftermath of Season One’s epic finale and take audiences along for a journey through the wasteland of the Mojave to the post-apocalyptic city of New Vegas.” Fans of the popular Bethesda video game series upon which Fallout is based will recognize New Vegas as the setting for the fan-favourite entry of the same name.
Fallout is about a post-apocalyptic America and those who used fallout bunkers to survive. The first season followed the plucky Lucy as she left her bunker to find her missing father (Kyle MacLachlan), unravelling the truth about the nuclear war that decimated the world along the way.
